Italy makes pressure against diesel prices

The prices at the petrol pumps continue to rise

The fita, organisation of road transport for small and medium-sized enterprises, has written to the Italian Government and called for emergency measures to compensate for rising fuel prices. It was a "wild price" without any control, fita President Cinzia Franchini wrote.
In Italy, road transport had 33 cents per litre more pay than in France, 20 cents more than in Germany, 35 cents more than in Spain, 33 cents more than in Austria and 43 cents more than in Slovenia. The current price, so Franchini, excludes Italy from the European market.
The FITA calls among other things, a freeze of VAT, the creation of a European capital market for crude oil and an opening of the Italian fuel market to competition. CINZIA Franchini did not rule out it could come very quickly to new protests if the problem will not addressed.
